Friends of HOS West

Home of the Sparrow is happy to announce Home of the Sparrow’s “Friends West”, a new group of enthusiastic women in McHenry County whose purpose is to financially support Home of the Sparrow’s mission. This type of group is not a new concept for Home of the Sparrow, as the original “Friends of Home of the Sparrow” group, located in Barrington, has been dedicated to preserving the financial integrity of the organization for over 20 years! The new “Friends West”, whose group members live in areas such as Lake in the Hills, Algonquin, and Crystal Lake, help extend the awareness of Home of the Sparrow across McHenry County. Formed in April, the group has already raised over $1,000 through two successful fundraisers. Additional fundraisers such as a bowl-a-thon, and spa night are planned for this fall and winter.
