Palatine Sparrow’s Nest Thrift Store TEMPORARILY Closed

The Palatine Sparrow’s Nest has been serving the community since 1998. As of May 10, 2022 the store will be temporarily closed for a reorganization. Home of the Sparrow values community partners, volunteers and staff and will be making changes to better meet the needs of the community while helping homeless women and children achieve self-sufficiency. Last year we provided services to over 378 individuals. We apologize for the inconvenience and recognize not everyone will appreciate the reorganization, we ask for your support as we re-open the store with a more improved model.

Stay Tuned for a customer appreciation day, with better customer service, and quality merchandise. You can still shop, or donate to any other Home of the Sparrow “Sparrow’s Nest Thrift Store and Donation Center” locations for quality merchandise. Shop Community Threads located at 250 Rand Rd. Arlington Heights or Sparrow’s Nest Thrift Stores with locations in Cary, McHenry, Woodstock, Mundelein, and Third Lake.
