#ThankfulThursday | Thank you to Tom Prudden and his family for volunteering at one of Home of the Sparrow’s Affordable Housing Units!

This #ThankfulThursday, Home of the Sparrow is thankful to Tom Prudden and his family for helping prune trees and shrubs at one of our Affordable Housing units in Woodstock, Illinois. They did an amazing job! We are thankful to them for giving of their time and talents to help keep this home looking beautiful for the families that we serve.

Home of the Sparrow is still in need of volunteers to help with seasonal projects at our shelter and our 26 affordable housing units across the county and Northern Illinois. These volunteer opportunities include yardwork, power washing and staining, interior and exterior painting, and general maintenance needs. If you are interested in volunteering as a group, please contact Jennifer Kolarczyk, Events and Volunteer Program Manager at 815-271-5444 ext. 224 or e-mail at jkolarczyk@hosparrow.org. Thank you!
